Hiking
Mike Clay is the Chairman for hiking. A group from SIR 77, SIR 172 and SIR 136 do a day hike of moderate difficulty, generally between 10 and 12 miles. Hikes take place every Friday and are usually somewhere along the 108 corridor. Call Mike 209- 588-1345.

Kayaking
Kayaking is available in conjunction with Sonora Sir Branch 172 (AKA Twain Harte) – contact Dave Kenney (davehikes98@sbcglobal.net). Trips are on the 4th Tuesday of the month with the last one in November (resuming in the spring).

Theater
Twain Harte Sirs #172 has a live theater group which attends six SRT performances a year. They normally attend a 2 pm Thursday matinee at the beginning of the run. Three plays are in East Sonora, and three plays are at the Fallon House in Columbia. They get a ticket price discount as a volume subscribers. They are inviting our interested members (and spouses, etc.) to join in. If you are interested, please call Big Sir George Kellerman at 533-9083 so seats can be arranged for us. Tickets are $24 each.
Other Activities
