May 19, 2026 Sir’s Golf Results
Thanks to all who played in the tournament. The weather was perfect, and even with the sanded greens, we had a few teams playing some excellent golf.
1st Place
Jeff Juhl and John Perrault shot an amazing 61, In fact, John birdied both of the Closest to the Pin holes, so you can expect to see his name again in the CTH section…
They will take home $15 each.
2nd Place
Next we have a couple of newer members, Jim Lucia and the newest guy – Eddie Warzee; they narrowly edged out a much better team that just ran into some bad luck on the last hole. Their 63 is notable because while Eddie is pretty new at golf, he birdied 17! And with his 2 pops, he ended up with a net zero for that horrible hole. $10 each
3rd Place
Coming in 3rd with a sparkling 65 was the team of Mike Coe and Dave Siudzinski. Dave was actually having a wonderful back nine, but saved his patented “blow up” hole for the 18th – where he shot a 9. Dang it… I still shot a 46,even with that 9… Story of my life. Anyway, $5 bucks to Mike and Dave.
4th Place
There was a tie for 4th place. The team of Matt Oliver and Frank Rands tied Matt Clay and Rod Salvi with 67’s. They each get $2.50. If they pool their money, they can get a beer and 4 straws and have a fine time…

John Perrault was looking pretty untouchable with his 2’11” shot, until Kris Feichtmeir showed up and knocked his ball to 2’5.5″ !
Kris takes home $15 for 1st place, John settles for the $10 2nd place money, and Matt Oliver adds $5 to the beer fund. Maybe he could even get another straw for the cart girl?

John Perrault gets his revenge when he lands his shot 3’9″ from the cup, narrowly edging out Dave McGuigan’s 21’10” shot and Frank Rands 23’2″ blast. (“Narrowly”… lol) John takes home the $15 1st place money, Dave gets $10 for his 2nd place, and Frank earned $5 for 3rd place.
I’ve posted the scores and attached the sheet with those scores. Please let me know if there are any issues, besides these 3 issues I already know about.
1. Pete Larkin does not have a handicap number
2. John Marrs not found in the handicap system or is not active
3.Frank Rands not found in the handicap system or is not active
Pete, John, and Frank – I’ll give the NCGA a call tomorrow and see if we can figure out what’s going on.
Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course
Thanks again to all who participated and remember to mark your calendars for next months tournament at Pine Mountain Lake golf course. June 16th, 9:30am shotgun start, price will be the usual $62. The format is TBD, but I’m open to suggestions.
By the way, thank Danny for setting this up!
May your actual swings eventually resemble your practice swings…
